Better to get too big boots, or too small?

Boot B:

I'm a size 6, with somewhat "flat" feet. Boot A is size 5.5 and Boot B is 7. Which one should I get? Please go by sizing and not entirely on looks.

P.S.--I tried looking around for similar boots, but I like these.. Plus, they're only $20 (without S%26amp;H)

Better to get too big boots, or too small?
I would always recommend the larger boot, "B" in this case, because your feet may grow some more. It's an awful feeling cramming your feet into smaller shoes/boots, especially if your feet ever swell or if you want to wear socks underneath. So by purchasing smaller boots in a size 5.5, you are already looking at a boot just a teensy bit too small and that can really be painful. I think that you might be putting yourself in a bad situation that might cause blisters if you go with the boot that is a half size too small. However, if you buy the larger boot, you can always purchase some padded insoles to help take up some of the extra room and you have all kinds of choices as to what you can do with these boots. You can wear thick calf length socks if you want, you can tuck your jeans into the boots to show them off, or whatever makes you happy. You can always stuff something soft down in the toe to also take up some of the extra room. At least you have a chance of growing into these boots and you will probably get a lot more use out of them than by purchasing boots that are already snug. That's what I did when I couldn't find a particular pair of shoes in the exact right size and I wanted them. And then I put the insoles in, so that takes up room, and if you can still find it, lambswool is really soft and excellent to pad the toes. You'd be surprised at how much better your 'tootsies' will feel with a little extra breathing room, but not so much that your heel goes up and down. At least with shoes or boots that are a little bit big, you have a few options. Hope this helps and you enjoy your boots! :)
Reply:Never go smaller unless you know that brand makes theirs too big. If they're winter boots, you may need to go up half a size or so if you plan on wearing warm, thick socks under the boot.
Reply:Boot B in the 7. They're a lot cuter and also your feet expand when they're hot so you'll want the extra room, especially if you wear them with socks. Too small would be torture on your poor feet!
Reply:personnaly, i like boot b better, plus if you get a size too big hopefully you will grow into them
Reply:i personally dont like either, but if i had to choose, go with the second, and if one is like 3 sizes too big then why get it. find a shoe in your size
