My bf got some boots but they are short boots and i've been calling them booties and he thinks i am insane. I thought that short boots are called booties. someone with some shoe knowledge please help me.

yessss they are. my dad thinks its really annoying how me and my sister always go "I LOVE MY BOOTIES, THEY ARE SO CUTE"
Reply:Yeah when they come to your ankles and generally have a loose fit at the cuff they are called booties.
