How to wear rain boots fashionably?

I bought these light blue plaid rain boots and I like them very much! But I'm having a bit trouble trying to coordinate the rest of my outfit with it. What do you think is a good summer/spring outfit to wear with cutsy rain boots?





I have some ideas:


Skinny jeans (tucked in), top ?? (would a black polo work?)


Dress with or without tights





any more thoughts?

i'd definitely wear skinny jeans tucked in, with a black or other cool-colored polo (a blue plaid shirt layered underneath the polo would look really cool with it too, if you wanted to coordinate with the boots very well!)
Reply:Wear some skinny jeans or board shorts with a black polo under a light blue polo.. and don't forget your accessories! Try some light blue, and black bead braclets ( maybe white if u have any on ) a light blue or white beaded necklace, and u can always wear silver earrings if u don't have any black or blue ones! I's prefer not to wear a dress with rainboots, but u can try a skirt without leggins. Have fun.
