Shining boots for army cadets?
A good quality polish, such as Kiwi Parade Gloss and a couple of soft yellow dusters.
Apply the polish to the duster which you wrap around one finger, then dip it in water and apply to the toe cap using small circular motions, keep plenty of polish and water on the duster. When the duster starts to 'drag' on the boot, re-apply, don't rub too hard. The process is called 'bulling' it's long and laborious but once the shine breaks through, it's easy to maintain. DO NOT use spit, the contents of spit makes it take longer to achieve the desired effect.
Also, do not resort to various cheets like I've seen such as painting them (it stands out a mile), or using Johnsons Clear floor polish, it looks great initially...but turns blue in the rain, the result...bedpacks for two weeks!
Reply:heat your boot over a flame then polish them , i think but not 100 % my son after he had rubed the polish in he use to heat a spoon up and then rub it onto the boot then used a duster to polish to a high shine.
Reply:Spit and Polish,,,,,
Reply:bannana skin gives good shine then wipe with clean cloth,
Reply:Motor head is right to a point.
Put some water in the polish lid and with a cloth wet it rub it in the polish and then polish in small circles until it is dry.
Buff the boots with the brush and shine with the cloth.
It is called spit and polish but in the example I have used water.
Reply:Use panty hose. Put a small amount of polish on the boot, press it between your knees, and use the panty hose with a back and forth mission to redistribute the polish. Stop periodically to spit on the polish, then continue. I pulled the panty hose TIGHT and buffed at a medium speed...and always had the best shine whenever we were inspected.
Reply:-brush off dirt with a bristly brush.
-put dabs of polish all over your boots
-rub the polish in with your brush first
-rub the polish in with some tights or a dust cloth for shine- move really quickly backwards and forwards.
Reply:there are plenty of websites that can help you do this just try searching it one there
you would probably get alot further on there than with some of the dunces on here
Reply:Take two brushes and one tin of Kiwi polish.
Rub the dirt and muck off your boots (make sure you do the soles too, and even the underside) with one brush, then take the next brush and put a small amount of even polish on the boots, rub it in with a circular motion. after you've done this on both boots, take the brush you used to get all the dirt off them and rub the polish in until it cmes up shiny. As I said, make sure you do the soles and the grip, as they will check them all.
