Ballet boots?

Why is it that there are so many narrow minded people out there not willing to just let me live my life wearing Ballet boots? What right do they have telling me nasty, hate filled things?


Does anyone else wear these Boots in public? what reactions do you get?

Im amazed you can walk in them! Just ignore the stupid ignorent people out there.

Do stay on your toes. It is impressive and admirable that you are able to do it.
Reply:I just looked them up. They look really uncomfortable and like they could damage your feet if you are not careful. But, if you want to wear them all the time that's your choice. People should not be mean to you about it, but then lots of people are not very nice. Be strong and ignore them. But make sure you are taking care of your feet and not doing yourself any harm by wearing these boots!
Reply:they look crippling! I had no idea what they were until i just looked them up, and now i see why they are called ballet boots! Do you walk about in thoses things? they look really painful!
Reply:Wish I knew what Ballet boots were. They sound kind of Gothy, but then I'm in my 50s and probably shouldn't admit to finding Goth girls sexy, but hey . Wear what you like. I suggest that if others comments disturb you, then you are not very happy about wearing them yourself.

Reply:I'd never heard of them before now. Naturally, I looked them up. My thoughts when looking at them are "OUCH!" I've attempted going en pointe before and I'm amazed at the people who can do it. If you want to wear those out in the real world all day long, all I can say is I applaud you! If you want to wear them and you CAN wear them, you have every right to show them off. Just make sure you take care of your feet and ankles. I'm sure they have the potential to do some serious damage if you're not careful.
