The bell boots with velcro are much easier to use. A lot of people have difficulties figuring out how to put the pull on ones on. Personally it is better when buying a pair of bell boots to go with a more expensive like I always use the pro. choice no turn ballistic bell boots because they stay in place and will last you a life time and you can throw them in your washing machine to clean them. I have bought cheap imatations and the also turn and flop and they get very annoying so go ahead and spend the more money now so that in a month when you get tired of the cheap ones you bought you wont be spending more getting a better pair!
Reply:I use combo splint boot and bell boot they are velcro and I like them better than the slip on. Just make sure you buy some good ones w/the no turn option. you can go to www.horseloverz.com for some good deals on Roma ones.
Reply:i just got my first ones and they are velcro...i prefer them too.


they only take like 5 seconds to put on, and very easy too!
Reply:The pull ons are way better to use if your horse is in a field all the time - i dont use them for my horses in the field so i dont bother with it.





But when i ride or do barrels i use the ones with the straps.

Reply:velcro are the best and easiest to work with. basically the pull on ones are more difficult and time consuming than any other fastening!!!
